Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Covered Pretzels Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups mini pretzel twists: (You can use gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips: (High-quality brands melt better)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil: (Refined is best for no coconut flavor)
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Optional Dark Chocolate Drizzle:

  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Equipment:

  • 2 Large microwave-safe bowls
  • 2 Baking sheets
  • Parchment paper or silicone baking mats
  • Spoons or small spatulas for stirring

Instructions:

Prep your space:

  • Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Melt the white chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  • Spice it up! Add the pumpkin pie spice to the melted chocolate and stir until well combined.

Dip those pretzels!

  • Working with a few pretzels at a time, dip them into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring they’re fully coated.
  • Gently tap or scrape the excess chocolate off the pretzel against the side of the bowl.
  • Place the coated pretzels on the prepared baking sheets.

Chilling time:

  • Refrigerate the baking sheets for at least 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Optional: Dark chocolate drizzle:

  • Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using the same method as for the white chocolate.
  • Stir in the pumpkin pie spice.
  • Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the chilled white chocolate-covered pretzels.

Chill again:

  • Refrigerate for an additional 15 minutes to set the drizzle.
