Instructions
Make the Everything Bagel Seasoning (if not using store-bought):
- In a small bowl, combine the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, and coarse sea salt. Set aside.
Prepare the dough:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar (if using).
- In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Roll and cut the dough:
- Divide the dough in half. Place one half on a sheet of parchment paper and cover with another sheet of parchment.
- Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough between the parchment sheets until very thin (about 1/16 inch thickness).
- Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and generously sprinkle about half of the Everything Bagel Seasoning on top. Gently press to adhere.
- Use a pizza cutter or knife to score the dough into cracker shapes (squares, rectangles, or any shape you like). Repeat with the remaining dough and seasoning.
Bake:
- Bake both sheets for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Rotate the baking sheets halfway through baking for even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheets. This will help them become fully crisp.
