Ingredients:
Chicken:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
Caesar Dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional, provides traditional flavor)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Wrap:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup croutons
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
- Slice chicken breast into thin strips or tenders.
- Place the chicken in a bowl with the Italian dressing. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to a few hours in the refrigerator.
Make the Caesar Dressing:
- Whisk together all Caesar dressing ingredients in a bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Cook the Chicken:
- Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken strips for 3-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly browned.
Assemble the Wraps:
- Warm the flour tortillas briefly for flexibility (in a microwave or dry skillet).
- Spread a generous amount of Caesar dressing on each tortilla.
- Top with chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, croutons, and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Roll the tortilla tightly to form the wrap.
- Slice in half for easier serving.
Optional Additions:
- Diced tomato
- Sliced avocado
- Bacon bits
Tips:
- For extra flavor, grill the chicken for a slightly smoky taste.
- If you don’t have time to marinate, season the chicken lightly with salt and pepper before cooking.
- To make the wraps easier to handle, cut them in half before serving.
