Instructions:
Make the Hot Fudge Sauce:
- Combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, corn syrup, butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until everything is melted and the sauce simmers gently.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Set aside to cool slightly (it will thicken as it cools).

- In each parfait glass, add a spoonful or two of warm hot fudge sauce to the bottom.
- Sprinkle with a layer of chopped peanuts.
- Add a generous scoop of softened vanilla ice cream.
- Repeat the layers: hot fudge sauce, peanuts, ice cream.
- Top with a final drizzle of hot fudge and a generous sprinkle of peanuts.

- Place parfaits in the freezer for at least 30 minutes for the layers to set slightly. This helps when serving.
