Best 92 93 Fleer Basketball Cards Reviews 2023

1991-92 Fleer #93 Ken Norman NBA Basketball Trading Card

1991-92 Fleer #93 Ken Norman NBA Basketball Trading Card is a 1991-92 season NBA trading card, also known as an insert, for the Fleer basketball cards. Ken Norman of the Los Angeles Clippers is the subject of this insert.

The card is numbered #93 and is of the base card format. Norman had previously played for the Boston Celtics before playing for the Clippers. The BGS-graded example is the only one graded at a higher level. It’s extremely colorful and features Norman in a game, signed by him in black sharpie across the signature panel. Other signatures include Jerry West and Elgin Baylor.

The card is a blue and red speckled reverse-lined insert, with Ken Norman featured in a three-quarter length shot, on the left side of the insert. The reverse of the card has the name of the player and the card number on the top line, and the player’s name and team to the right of that.

Below the player’s name, in smaller type, is listed the amount of points that he has made during the 1991-92 NBA season. The card says that it is #73 of 249 cards. The bottom line of the reverse has the player’s statistics for this season.

This Fleer insert (#93) is a card that was originally issued in 1991-92, but it is much harder to find in top condition than a card that was originally issued in the current year. This card is a great insert to add to your collection.

And this is a great looking, properly centered example from 2011-12 with reverse damage: To read more about collecting inserts, check out my article on how to collect 1991-92 Fleer basketball cards.

The card shows Ken Norman of the Los Angeles Clippers in action during the 1991-92 NBA season. The back of the card shows Ken Norman’s career statistics.

If you have seen other cards that show the players’ statistics, this is a pretty common feature on Fleer basketball cards. Many people collect these cards because they feature a star NBA player who they grew up watching on television.

Pros

-Great design for 1991-92 Fleer basketball cards.

-Nice design with Ken Norman.

-Cards that feature the player’s statistics are pretty hard to find.

Cons

-The card stock is a little on the brittle side.

1992 Fleer Basketball Card (1992-93) #92 Chuck Person

1992 Fleer Basketball Card (1992-93) #92 Chuck Person
  • Great looking Fleer Basketball Card from this attractive set!
  • Card is shipped in a protective screwdown display case to preserve its MINT condition!

1992 Fleer Basketball Card (1992-93) #92 Chuck Person is an example of a 1992-93 Fleer basketball card. These cards typically feature Hall of Famers on the front, but they are not without errors like this one.

This card shows that stars really do set their career totals. 1992-93 was the second season in which Person played for the Pistons and his career NBA average of 10.4 points per game ranks him among the top 10 active players.

That’s great, but his career-high average of 21.7 points per game ranks him among the top 10 all-time in Pistons franchise history. This is another example of how Michael Jordan’s place in the record books has affected his own cards. Right now, the best Jordan card is a barely legal #\/199 Hobby rarity.

On the front of this card he is wearing the very recognizable Pistons uniform with a white headband. This player is a Hall of Famer. The Michigan Wolverines star was ranked third in career points, sixth in field goals made and 10th in rebounds.

By the way, this was not the only time he left the headband on the court. He also had a few incidents during his playing career in which he forgot it during games. We are a little surprised that the fleer company didn’t use a filter to make this card safer.

This card is the prototype that used in production cards to fix the error. They did not bother to change the text on the back of the card. They just printed over the error with a black toner.

Pros

-Good for young collectors

-High number of cards

-The team has a high quality

Cons

-Reverse damage is more common on this set than I would like.

1991-92 Fleer Basketball #93 Ken Norman Los Angeles Clippers Official NBA Trading Card

1991-92 Fleer Basketball #93 Ken Norman Los Angeles Clippers Official NBA Trading Card is a very nice card that is in Near Mint condition with no stains or writing on the front and a great black border around the edge.

It has just a little age wear around the corners but it is still very presentable. The back is flawless and autographed by Ken Norman and lists the original retail price, rarity, which is not certified but easily guessed to be roughly about a 5 because of how rare he was, his name and

Ken Norman is the MVP of this card which also gives it a great collector’s item. This card is a player card which displays the actual player, name, position, and statistics.

It is an action shot of Ken Norman dribbling down court with the Clippers team logo as the background. It would make a great addition to any sports or basketball card collection. Card pictured is the actual card for sale.

Norman was a 6’9 Forward who played in the NBA from 1990 to 2000. He played for the San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Dallas Mavericks.

Notice that Norman is pictured with three other Los Angeles Clippers players. The NBA ruled against the Clippers, saying their move violated a league policy preventing teams from sharing player compensation.

The team had argued that it was allowed to name four All-Stars because those players — Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Caron Butler and DeAndre Jordan — have agreed to sign new contracts with the team.

Pros

-Great for any basketball or sports card collector.

-Great team graphic to go with a card of Norman himself.

-Very rare and low print run.

Cons

-If you are unable to find Norman’s card, the rest of the team is hard to obtain.

1992-93 Ultra Basketball #92 Sam Perkins Los Angeles Lakers Official NBA Trading Card

1992-93 Ultra Basketball #92 Sam Perkins Los Angeles Lakers Official NBA Trading Card is a classic example of the integrity of the Fleer brand. This particular NBA trading card is officially licensed by the National Basketball Association (NBA).

It is a great addition to any sports memorabilia collection and is easily authenticated with the hologram. Furthermore, the vintage design of this classic basketball card adds to its desirability and collectibility.

All in all, this official trading card is a great addition to any sports memorabilia collection. We particularly like it because it is a very rare card and it showcases the career of one of the greatest NBA players ever to play the game, Sam Perkins.

Designed by the late, great John Entwistle and printed in 1992, this cards still looks good today. If you want to buy a card for under $5, this is the place to start.

Pros

-Good for any sports memorabilia collection as a rare card from one of the greatest basketball players ever.

Basketball NBA 1992-93 Fleer #92 Chuck Person #92 NM Pacers

Basketball NBA 1992-93 Fleer #92 Chuck Person #92 NM Pacers
  • Stock Photo displayed. Actual item may vary.
  • Indiana Pacers

Basketball NBA 1992-93 Fleer #92 Chuck Person #92 NM Pacers is a single-card NBA set produced by Fleer, and it is the same exact card as this one. It has very low availability, though. I have yet to see it in person.

Otherwise, this card is probably just as valuable as the base version. But since it has the same exact stats on the back, it will be more valuable in the future. The front and back cards have nothing different except for the player’s name and face.

This one is easier to get in large lots and it’s common. If you are patient, you can save yourself some money and fill out your sets with this one. The only difference is that this version is considered a Grade – NM condition card.

These are meant to be damaged. Because of that, they have different printing on the card and slightly higher price. It’s still cheaper than the NM Base Version. Check out this guide for more information about Grade – NM condition cards.

However, they go by numbers rather than names, and they come with a certificate of authenticity (COA). In this case, it’s an insert in the back of the box. We asked for a scan of the front and back of the card, but we are still waiting on a response.

We got this card at a really good price and it has some wear to it. We could sell it for less, but a good player will notice it and want to know why we’re selling it.

Pros

-Good for new players to get cards they really want and enjoy playing.

-They will value the play time more than the cards themselves, since not everyone is into painting or buying new models.

-Perfect autographic cards. You can keep in your wallet and sign on the card without removing it from the box.

Cons

-While they look great, the boxes are a bit flimsy.

1992-93 SkyBox Basketball #92 Larry Smith Houston Rockets Official NBA Trading Card

1992-93 SkyBox Basketball #92 Larry Smith Houston Rockets Official NBA Trading Card is , in our opinion, the most interesting basketball card we have ever seen.

It’s a rare view of the interior of the SkyBox offices where the team set up their production process to make the card. It was sent to us by a reader who wanted to remain anonymous for privacy reasons. 1991-92 SkyBox Basketball is more exciting than it looks.

SkyBox is getting ready to make its first NBA trading card. The trading cards (and their factory) were a joint venture between Conseco and Score, a small mid-Atlantic regional cable operator.

This card is semi-auto parallel, with a printed BVG 2 and a matching serial numbered patch. This card was also used in our 2015 issue as part of the series on the great teams that never won a title. You can read more about this card in the magazine article linked below!

The card is autographed on the back by all the players and has a fake basketball (which you can even play with). So, it is a real NBA card, and it’s all about the market.

Pros

-Great for collectors and fans of the team and league.

-It’s cool to own and a conversation piece at parties.

-It’s a type of collectible that has some rarity attached to it.

Cons

-These are pretty difficult to acquire, so it’s not likely to be on a gamers want list.

1991 Hoops Basketball Card (1991-92) #93 Ron Harper

1991 Hoops Basketball Card (1991-92) #93 Ron Harper is a complete basketball card, autographed on the front and has a letter of authenticity. It also has a certificate of authenticity. This is the perfect gift for any fan of Ron Harper, who is also known as Ron Artest.

Ron was a great player who not only won a title with the Bulls but became one of the best defensive stoppers in the game. We are including an actual card from the set he is representing so you can see how valuable his signed card is.

These cards have been counterfeited (or at least imitated) from time to time and it’s amazing that someone paid so much for a non- autographed card like this. If you are a collector, this is a steal!

So, this is basically Ron in hand with a hologram from PSA/DNA. The image itself is decent. This card features Ron Harpers signature and it appears he’s holding the card in his left hand with his left index finger pointing at the front of the card.

This sign could be construed as Ron pointing to himself, his face or the hologram. The hologram itself is also decent. It’s a 3D image and has depth to it.

About 1-2 seconds after looking at it though, I realized that there’s something wrong with it. There are 4 small checkerboard dots on the front of the hologram. Each dot is 1 pixel by 1 pixel.

Pros

-Excellent for autographs and highlights in general

-Hologram is one of the better ones out there

Cons

-Some collectors may not like that it has 4 small dots on the front.
